Charlotte Cordina
Accountant
Charlotte joined Hanover as an accountant based in the Malta office. She is supporting the finance team of Hanover Investors Management (Malta) Ltd and Hanover Investors Management LLP.
She started her career as a Client Accounting Assistant with Deloitte, maintaining accounting records for various clients in different industries such as Banking and Insurance. She subsequently moved to VING Insurance Brokers as an Accountant.
Charlotte is actively pursuing the ACCA qualification and is half way through her studies.
Valentina Elner-Kupcha
Analyst
Valentina is supporting the Investor relations and Fundraising team.
She joined Hanover in August 2023 as an intern and stayed on as an analyst in October 2023.
She graduated from the University of Cambridge in Classics and spent her summers fundraising for the start-up/VC world. She also has experience in running communications and strategy for a pan-European impact community based out of Cambridge.
Bjorn Grech
Risk Manager
Bjorn joined Hanover as a Risk Manager based in the Malta office. He forms part of the Risk Committee and works closely with investment team, operations and finance teams.
Prior to joining Hanover in 2023, Bjorn served as the CEO of an investment services firm and fulfilled the roles of Managing Director and Risk Manager for a Maltese Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM).
He is a certified accountant from the University of Malta and holding a Diploma in Fund Administration from the University of Manchester.
Paul Keegan
Head of Investor Relations
Paul oversees the day-to-day client service, client on-boarding and account maintenance.
Paul joined Hanover in 2018 and previously worked for Merrill Lynch and BlackRock within fixed income client services and most recently as operations manager at Finisterre Capital, an Emerging Market Hedge Fund.
Paul holds a degree in Accounting and Finance and a Masters degree in Economics from Manchester University.
Mary Lurie
EA & Investor Relations Assistant
Mary is an Executive Assistant to several Hanover Partners. In addition Mary is working closely with the Investor relations team.
Prior to joining Hanover in 2022 Mary worked at Farlap Capital where she carried out EA and IR duties. She has also worked at the Chiltern Firehouse, Hotel Cafe Royal and The Berkeley in various guest relations roles.
Jaily Pino Molina
Administrative Assistant
Jaily joined Hanover as an Administrative Assistant supporting the Malta team with various administrative tasks.
Jaily joined Hanover in 2022 and has a wealth of experienceas as an administrative assistant in various companies in Malta and Colombia.
Jaily has a diploma in business administration from London School of Commerce in Malta and a bachelor's degree in business administration from UTH Florida university.
Charlotte Roberts
Team Assistant
Charlotte Roberts joined Hanover as a Team Assistant in the London Office.
Prior to joining Hanover in 2023, Charlotte interned at GHD group in the strategy and innovation team and previously worked at the private members club, Bowcliffe Hall Driver’s Club, for several years.
Charlotte graduated in 2022 with a 2:1 in Economics from Newcastle University.
Mali Shor
Investor Relations & Marketing Coordinator
Mali joined Hanover as an Administrative Assistant and now is working with Investor Relations & Marketing team. Mali is focusing on marketing, events and day-to-day communication with investors.
Mali joined Hanover in 2017 and has a wealth of experience working in a variety of companies in Russia and Italy.
Roberta Spiteri
Fund Accountant
Roberta is focused on day-to-day operations relating to various Hanover Funds in the following strategies: Private Equity, Public Equity and Credit.
Roberta joined Hanover in 2021 as an Accountant Assistant. Roberta worked at HSBC Bank Malta plc as a student intern and she was previously employed with Ennesse, a Financial Service Company based in Malta.
Roberta is currently working on achieving her ACCA qualification and is half way through her studies.
Sarah Stuart-Jones
Executive Assistant
Sarah is an Executive Assistant and is supporting several Hanover partners.
Sarah joined Hanover in 2022. Previously Sarah worked for The Royal Household as PA to the Deputy Keeper of the Privy Purse. Prior to that she worked at Henry Poole & Co.
Sarah has a 2:1 degree in History and History of Art from the University of East Anglia.
Cassandra Watson
Office Manager
Cassandra is an office manager and focuses on day-to-day operations of managing the London office and supporting the wider team.
Cassandra joined Hanover in 2022 as a receptionist.
Cassandra previously worked in Maximus UK where she was an Employment Advisor. Prior to Maximus, Cassandra worked in a Front of House / Office Manager capacity for both Bea Skin Care and IK Partners.
Tamara Box
Senior Advisor
Tamara is part of the Hanover Group Board and serves on the Investment Committee for Credit investments.
Tamara is a Partner at Reed Smith LLP where she is a leader in structured finance. Previously she was Managing Partner for EMEA for Reed Smith’s Structured Finance Team and Chair of the firm’s Financial Industry Group.
Tamara is a recognised authority in the area of securitisation, having been regularly named a leading practitioner by each of the International Financial Law Review’s Guide to the World’s Leading Structured Finance and Securitisation Lawyers, The Legal 500’s Legal Experts, Chambers’ UK Guide and The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers.
Tamara is a non-executive director, trustee and advisor to multiple organisations including Interpath Advisory, the Chartered Management Institute, gynaecological cancer charity Eve Appeal, children’s charity Theirworld, and is a founding member of the Steering Committee of the 30% Club.
Sir Donald Brydon
Senior Advisor
Sir Donald is part of the Hanover Group Board and serves on the Investment Committee for Private Equity investments.
Donald brings a wealth of experience gained on the boards of several listed companies across a wide range of sectors, as well as significant knowledge and understanding of the finance industry.
He currently serves as Chair of the technology businesses Tide, PrimaryBid and Adarga. He is a past Chairman and Chief Executive of both BZW Investment Management Ltd and AXA Investment Managers SA and was acting CEO of BZW. He was also Chairman of London Stock Exchange Group, the Sage Group, London Metal Exchange, Smiths Group plc, Taylor Nelson Sofres plc, Amersham plc, Royal Mail Group plc, and the London Institute of Banking & Finance.
Terri Duhon

Terri is part of the Hanover Group Board and serves on the Investment Committee for Credit investments.
Terri is an award-winning educator and a TEDx speaker. She is the Non-Executive Chair of Morgan Stanley Investment Management Ltd and is on the boards of Morgan Stanley International where she chairs the Risk Committee, Rathbones plc, a FTSE250 UK Wealth Manager, and Wise plc, a global fintech. She has a prominent role in education as an Associate Fellow at The Said Business School, is part of the MIT Corporation Visiting Committee and is a motivational speaker for Speakers for Schools.
Terri started her career at JPMorgan where she joined from MIT as a derivatives trader. She was part of the team that pioneered the credit derivative market place, as documented in Gilian Tett's Fools Gold and on PBS Frontline.
Susan Fleming
Senior Advisor
Susan serves on the Investment Committee for Private Equity investments.
Susan is an entrepreneur in residence, corporate director, angel investor and executive educator. She began her career on Wall Street where she was a Partner of Capital Z Financial Services Partners, a $1.9B private equity fund focused on investing in financial services firms and an Analyst at Morgan Stanley. Susan has served on the board of seven publicly traded companies, and is a current director of RLI Corp. and Virtus Investment Partners, Inc.
After leaving Wall Street in 2003, Susan earned a Ph.D. in Management at Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management where her research focused on better understanding the factors contributing to the dearth of women in leadership positions.
Brett Lankester

Brett is part of the Hanover Group Board.
Brett was CEO of Union Bancaire Privee (UBP) in London, having sold his Wealth Management business, ACPI, to UBP in 2018. Brett joined ACPI as Managing Partner in 2007 and prior to that was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs.
Brett is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a B.Com and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
Michael Sofaer
Senior Advisor
Michael serves on the Investment Committee for Private Equity investments.
Michael is the founder and principal of Sofaer Capital Inc. following its inception in 1986, as the first Asian-orientated hedge fund with offices in London, New York, San Francisco and Hong Kong. Prior to this, Michael was a securities analyst with the Schroder Group in London before establishing the research department for Schroder Investment Management in Hong Kong, where he managed two unit trusts.
Michael has served on several company boards internationally and is an active investor in both private and public companies.
