Hydro International, is a design and engineering business operating in the water sector. Based in the UK, but with significant operations in the US, Hydro creates and sells grit separation products into the wastewater sector, as well as devices for controlling, storing and treating storm water.
Investment thesis and outcome
Hanover re-focused the company strategy on Hydro's core markets in Europe and the US. Through the removal of excess cost and organic growth, EBITDA almost trebled over Hanover's hold period.
