Fairline Yachts Sold

LONDON, UK - December 5, 2024

Hanover Investors has today sold its interest in Fairline Yachts to Arrowbolt Propulsion Systems, the clean propulsion technology company.

Arrowbolt, which was founded in 2022, is appointing experienced industry executive Peter Hamlyn as CEO of Fairline.

Peter Hamlyn said: “We look forward to aligning the business with our long-term vision to be a clean and sustainable marine brand. However, to be clear, the industry faces a number of economic and market challenges, and we will be assessing the current business before making any strategic long-term investment decisions.”

The business has an excellent reputation and a well-established market position. Fairline’s Squadron 58, which launched at Southampton International Boat Show in September 2023 and Boot Dusseldorf 2024, was announced as the winner in the ‘Flybridges up to 60ft’ category at the 2024 Motor Boat Awards.

Hanover acquired Fairline in June 2021 via Hanover Active Equity Fund II.
